FDMThis is an historical picture of south London boy band, Fundamental (now called FDM), as they accept their 2004 SInger Songwriter title from ATL who were one of America's top boy bands of the time. It was the first time that an international act appeared as guests in a non-televised talent show. In that year the Hackney Empire was sold out after just a 2 week promotional campaign as we had to quickly move the venue from the Islington Academy because of capacity.

Fundamental went on to do national support tours with Nelly and were then signed by Neyo's Universal label.
However, things did not all go to plan and you can now catch them re-building their careers on Sky 1's "Must Be The Music" as they impress the judges on their way to the semi-finals.
